More developed vehicles produce higher loads, specially on the driver. Our VF650
program for the new M3 is pulling lateral loads in excess of 1.3g and retaining proper driving position is an exciting, but daunting challenge. We’ve had success using Recaro. Their sport seats offer significantly more support and bolstering with well-engineered mount solutions. And their OE quality and appearance is what VFE customers expect.

The Recaro Pole Position racing shell is a good solution, featuring an extended range of features and even greater durability. This seat is made of glass fiber reinforced plastic (GRP) and features a pronounced seat cushion and seatback bolsters that offer optimum vehicle control in extreme driving situations.

Standard features include:
Integrated headrest for reliable head protection, specifically designed shoulder support for optimum lateral hold, RECARO side mounts made out of steel or aluminum (accessory), belt guides accept 4, 5, or 6-point harnesses, lumbar cushions for the individual support of the spinal column, seat shell made of glass fiber reinforced plastic material (GRP).

Track-certified, Recaro’s Pole Position retains a level of civility appropriate for daily street use. Ingress/egress won’t place passengers in paparazzi-approved positions.
