VF uses Superflow
The computer-controlled SF-1020 flowbench is SuperFlow’s most advanced, most powerful flowbench. Designed for demanding engineers and professional racers, the SF-1020 or ProBench, can measure and record air flow at OEM engineering accuracy faster than any other flowbench on the market.

Flow computer—SuperFlow’s FlowCom flow computer is built into the front of the SF-1020. This accurate, easy-to-use digital airflow measurement system takes pressure and temperature measurements on the flowbench, does all the corrections, and shows flow on its precision display.

WinFlow—FlowCom can automatically send all flow data through its serial port to a PC with WinFlow software. With WinFlow, you can view flow data graphically, record, store and print it. You can retrieve old tests to overlay and compare with current ones.

Flow direction—The SF-1020 can be easily switched to either intake or exhaust flow direction. Set it to intake to test intake valves, air cleaners and carburetors. Change the flow direction to exhaust to test exhaust valves, exhaust systems and two-cycle cylinders.

Test pressure—As you run flow tests, the SF-1020 automatically regulates the test pressure based on your keypad input. All you do is adjust the valve and record the flow reading at each point. Most testing with the SF-1020 is performed at 50" to 65" (130–165 cm) of water test pressure. The SF-1020 will provide fast, accurate, repeatable results at any test pressure between 5" and 70" (13–175 cm).

Flow measurement—The SF-1020’s unique variable flow orifice adjusts flow range between 25–1000 cfm (12–470 l/s) based on your FlowCom input to fit the valve size or valve lift. You can run all your tests with a single setting or change the range to obtain extended accuracy. Throughout the range, flow can be read within 0.25%. The variable flow range increases the resolution of flow measurement as compared to a single-range system. Changes of 0.5% are readily detectable.

Calibration—Your flowbench will be tested before it leaves SuperFlow and comes with its own calibration sheet to ensure the accuracy of your tests. The included standard test orifice system verifies the calibration of the flowbench at any time, now or in the future.
